    Yellowstone (2018) Paramount Network

I'm actually enjoying this series. It is like all of the old " cattle baron " westerns all rolled up into one show. Whats not to like about ranch hands being branded and taking the long black train when they run astray.

    Syfy 's ‘The Expanse’

I did. I'm going to let my renewal go through. Bought the Season 3 pass and pre-ordered the Season 3 BD. I let them know that them picking up The Expanse was the sole reason they are getting my money. The coming seasons will be awesome if they can keep the production values up. I want some...

    The 100

I do have NetFlix but I did end up buying the Prime season pass for something like $32 as part of my thank you for Amazon picking up The Expanse. I'm actually liking what I'm seeing so far with the introduction of the prison ship. The Colonel/Captain thing did confuse me a bit but maybe the rank...

    The 100

Is the latest season worth buying? I totally forgot about CW being blacked out on Dish and none of my timers fired. I started to record over OTA but the constant glitching with the Hopper 3 is really annoying.

    Salvation (CBS)

I liked Season 1 and this seems to be an easy one to cancel since the Cancellation Asteroid can hit at any time with no need to tie up any character arcs or loose ends. My DVR gets a workout on Sunday and Wednesday but gets no action on Monday.

    Syfy 's ‘The Expanse’

I haven't read all of the books ( just ordered the rest of them available on paperback from Amazon ) but my understanding is that production might get more expansive considering where the books take us. Who knows, though, as zipping through the gate network in Stargate to other planets didn't...

    Syfy 's ‘The Expanse’

Bobbie isn't quite my type. I don't want to be in a relationship with a woman that could pound me into dust. She is bad-ass, though. Now. Drummer is more to my liking. That last episode was one of the best so far and kicks off the events in Abaddon's Gate, the 3rd book.

    Syfy 's ‘The Expanse’

Last I heard was that the sets were struck last Wednesday and sold to CBS to use on Star Trek Discovery. I suppose Alcon could get them back but that would be an additional expense if Amazon does pick it up.

    Star Trek Discovery

I did run through all of the episodes again before cancelling my subscription until the final six episodes are up to binge. I don't know how cleaver the writers are but I have a strong feeling that Lorca IS from the Mirror Universe. There were several scenes when Lorca looked at himself in a...

    Star Trek Discovery

Most 18 to 29-year-olds don't have brains to shut off, so it is all good with this new Star Trek. I wonder if the feelings from older Trekkers will change over time? I remember when the Original Trekkies were up in arms over The Next Generation but eventually warmed up to the series and were...

    The Orville on Hulu

Anyone want to bet that someone will have a WORKING Down-vote/Up-vote badge ready before the next Sci-Fi convention? Cosplay just got a whole lot easier. All you'll need is a trapezoid case for your cell phone and one of those badges. I'm actually surprised that the good stories keep coming...

    The Orville on Hulu

I totally forgot about Sunday Night Football and pretty-much missed all of the 2nd episode. I did watch a little bit of it and will just wait to watch the 3rd episode on the 23rd along with a repeat of the 2nd episode. I hope it can retain those numbers and get a 2nd season.

Doesn't she also sell pretzels on the side?

    Star Trek Discovery

I think these Klingons are going to be some type of proto-Klingon. Everything I've heard points to this... Shinzhou ( the 24th-century-looking ship ) finding a derelict Klingon ship ( Sarcophagus ship ) out in deep space, Captain and XO beam onto said ship and wake the things up, they barely...

    Timeless

I tuned out after the first six episodes because of the constant pandering. Hopefully, they will get rid of the pilot that seemed to always yap about the treatment of black people in the past. That and they spent a lot of time going to time periods relating to the treatment of blacks. I'm just...

    The Walking Dead on AMC

I knew Sonequa ( Sasha ) was gone as soon as she landed the lead role on the new Star Trek series back in December. Talent can usually juggle TV and a movie but not another TV series that requires a weekly shoot schedule in Georgia and Vancouver. Just wish she would have taken a chunk out of...

The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime

At only 275 pages and free to Amazon subs, it is worth the read if you just want to get a general feel for the differences. There are two major differences, the films are books in the book and Smith and the Japanese counterpart are characters to bring in a sense of rebellion and conflict, which...

    HBO's Westworld

I have to go back and re-watch the whole series, which is still on my Dish DVR. We see a body being knitted in Ford's basement but really didn't pay attention to which timeline that was in. It could have been Arnold's/Benard's body or Ford's replacement if seen in the current timeline. I haven't...

    HBO's Westworld

Question for season 2 is will there be any guests left except for the Asian tech? Gotta love those FN P90's.

    Timeless

All I know about whether Timeless will live on in a second season is that the Cancel Bear is smacking its jaws and taking a few swipes at it. :D March or April 2017 is when we will know for sure. I'm enjoying Westworld much more and can't wait for the second season of Man in the High Castle on...

    Timeless

Well. We may not know what Flynn's ultimate goal is but we sure know what Rufus' goal is... to make white people feel bad about the past. That's the main reason I'm tuning out. I don't want to have slavery and the past treatment of people of color shoved down my throat in every episode.

    HBO's Westworld

Maeve is getting some upgrades. :D I don't think Elsie has too much time left as the person that is trying to uncover the truth always buys it in the end. Still trying to figure out who ( in the control center ) is human or AI. I think they were ALL AIs in the movie but not sure in this series...

Is it me or does the stolen time machine look like the CBS eye? LOL

    Timeless

Quantum Leap, without the humor? Will they do the obligatory JFK, Hitler, or MLK " What If? " episode? Progressive Hollywood loves to shove those down our throats every chance they get.

A new Star Trek series will premiere in 2017

^^^ Yes. This is looking more and more like being real close to the plot of Axanar and would explain why CBS shut down the fan productions. The Enterprise would have already been launched and commanded by either April or Pike. Garth of Izar would be doing what he does best instead of rotting in...
