I posed this question about TNTHD to Wilt over a week ago on the VOOM Yahoo group and to date, no response. Reposted it this morning. Could be that they just don't know. I think Wilt's more in the know on the technical side of things seemingly than the programminig side.

If you're talking about the other posts in this thread, yes I read them all. And none of the previous posts deal with the question of source material for the HD transfer. Thanks for your answer though. :) Is this the way ALL films presented in HD on Satellite/Cable are transfered? I.E...

Does anybody know the source material used for the HD transfers? I find it hard to believe that they would use film. If not film, then what? Most likely a DVD I would guess. And I prefer OAR.
