The dual diplexer that i was given with my install (a channelmaster something) passes the DC from one of the boxes (the one on Out1) to the antenna. It is clearly indicated on the connection diagram on the diplexer. Out1 passes it's DC to LNB1 and to the ANT, while Out2 passes it's DC to LNB2...

HD channels OTA are just UHF channels. If you see an antenna hyped as a HDTV antenna, odds are it is just marketing. An antenna that was a good UHF antenna 30 years ago, would be a good HDTV antenna today.

You won't find much in the way of analog information here, the VOOM STB only has a digital tuner in it. Also, just the act of splitting the signal to go to an analog tuner will cause a loss in the quality of the Digital signal.

The antenna that Voom uses, the Channel Master StealthAntenna, is one of the aesthetically best looking antennas available. Not bad reception to boot... If it weren't raining, I'd go snap a pic of mine, but, wouldn't do much for you right now.
