If you get more channels without the voom receiver why don't you just plug in your antenna to the built in Tuner? That way you could also have PIP with the local channels on a different input. I know it would be a little more inconveniant but not really.

I don't get 69 or 17.2 and for some reason today I can't get 5.1. Also, does anyone have 3.1 on their PG? It is not on mine but I saw somewhere that it was suppposed to be. With the slight OTA problems I am having I am wondering if I need an upgrade or signal booster. Any help on this?

Another question, I tried to use Native Resolution(where each source comes in its original form) and the standard channels have a weird horizontal blur and the top and/or the bottom. So, I have been using the everything 1080i setting Does anyone know why this happens on the native resolution...

Actually I rotated it and picked up 4 ore channels but they tend to cut out a lot. I need some kind of signal booster.

When you guys talk about signal strength are you talking about the VOOM scree that shows you or are you guys measuring it was some kind of separate device? I have a 96 on the VOOM station.

whiteice, I am in an apartment and my dish and OTA is mounted on my balcony and I get most of the local channels. When the installor comes if not many OTA channels are present just fool around with until you get them.

OK an update. I moved my antenna around and I can get 2.1 (ABC), 5.1(Fox), 11 (NBC), 14.1 (Pax i believe), and 46 (CBS). I have one of all four hell yeah. For some reason 3.1 is not even on my dial. Also, I dont' have a PBS for the kids. :( Also, Does CBS in ATL not broadcast in HD?

What is the OTA antenna upgrade that you guys talk about? A bigger antenna or some kind of a booster? I think I need just a small boost because I am getting all the channels now, but a couple break up a little. Also on the regular satellite channels am I supposed to be getting the...

It's weird now HDnews and WorldSport both fit into my TV screen very well. Yesterday logos and newsbars were off the screen.

I find it pathetic that some communities are so stuffy that they would complain about a TV antenna being visible.

well I meant the OTA pole. It didnt' even have that pipe that comes out of the dish for the OTA. He got one out of another Stealth Antenna box.

I am in Cartersville (about 45 mile N or Atlanta at the most) and I can only get 5.1 and one other; I believe it is Pax). In all fairness though there are a lot of trees in the way that my antenna is pointing. Oh yeah, I can get TBS but who cares when It is an SD channel.

My Voom installation going on right now got the satellite bracketed. Opened up the OTA box and there is no OTA mount :shocked going to look on his truck now for one. Any last words of advice?

Randy, In May I had a Dish Network Installer come out to my apartment and within 10 seconds he said "nope, can't get Dish N. here, maybe DirectTV can help you". He said that my balcony faces a direction in which I won't be able to get Dish Network. Does this mean Voom won't work for me...
