Mine is accessable with a broom but it's not a buildup issue as it was clean both times. Perhaps it's a crudy LNBF or dish may be off but when i'm normally at 95% signal without snow and 65% with snow it leads me to believe higher gain is the answer. we'll find out next week what the doctor...

Funky, You should have a small power injector in your OTA antenna line. The internal amplifier is NOT powered by the receiver. There is no way the box would know if the antenna has an amplifier or not so it can't output any voltage to the antenna by default. I have seperate lines for OTA...
