Well..go figure.. I dial in Channel 3 around 10pm and there is ..the Olympic HD feed... and I watched it for 4 hrs..perfect picture...I really dont know why Channel 3 is so erratic/unpredictable for me. maybe some local interference that goes away at some point ? GOK!

no diplexor; yes it has an amplifier. What set up are you using? Channel 3 is the only issue... others are perfect.

damn Fayrich...there must be some interference with the signal at times then? If it was the antenna, it makes no sense to get the signal for days then no signal at all. Plus I get all my other channels just fine all the time. It is strange. Any technical gurus out there with any advice?

Channel 3 is more or less bahving itself most of the time. Still some pixelation at times but still watchable. I dont think I need to tweak my antenna anymore. I think it is the broadcast.

Congrats! I am a Cleveland Voomer. Ironically, the NBC local here is the only OTA channel that seems to be fine at times and breaks up/pixelates at other times. All the other locals are solid, I am using the Stealth. I dont think I can adjust it much more unless an inch or so makes a big...

Thanks.... yes, it is pixelating now. Check your 3.1 signal quality during prime time. You will see a difference.

Do the other Clevelanders see the same thing on Channel 3?

Cleveland Voomers.. regarding OTA Channel 3.. I find that it is weak and pixelates during the day but is fine at night. It this because they are throwing out more power at (6pm or later) night? All the other OTA channels seem stable all the time. Is this your experience? other explanation?

Thanks.. my signal is 88-89...I asked several times if it was peaked to the max and was told yes. I even questioned the use of the D* dish vs. the Voom dish and was assured it would be fine. The PQ and audio is terrific.. so if it can get better....I wil be REALLY impressed!

I forgot to mention..... the DD 5.1 audio on Voom is significantly better on my system vs. DirecTV. A nice surprise!I love great PQ and great audio.

I am in Brunswick, OH a SW burb of Cleveland. ProStar Digital did my install. George was terrific.

It works for me. My signal is 89-90.

They are.. but the LNB(s0 that needs to bring in Vooms bird works and others are "blind"... works great!

Vurbano, Actually, He used my current elliptical D* dish and the LNB,,, just turned the dish to the southeast... and bingo...works great!

Another NEW VoOmer in Ohio! My install was yesterday. All went well. The installer was terrific. I love the HD PQ. I find the SD channels to be equivalent to DirecTV. I got the new software download overnight. The stealth antenna picks up all OTA channels but one (Channel 3) strangely enough...

Thanks Fayrich, Sounds like the 18" VOOM dish will be just as good as my DirecTV dish. A signal loss few times a year due to weather is not an issue. Heck my cable would go out a few times a year too... I am looking forward to Vooming! Finally.
