    How important is the DVR to you as a Voom customer?

    Today, when I saw the Voom DVR was a 2005 intro, my heart sank. Love my VVV, but need that DVR badly. Did I read on a thread that the delay is due to the MPEG4 upgrade? First the upgrade and then the DVR?

    I want an HD DVR SOOO BAD...tempted to switch.

    We are also dying to have an HD DVR, but we have had two Tivo's (SD) and both failed after about 18 months, both times with tons of unwatched Soprano's (and this year Deadwood) episodes unwatched and lost forever (or at least until the DVD's come out). I do not think the DVR is at the same level...

    Voom Dvr

    I called for the list, and they said there is no list, and when we call in for requests to be listed, rather than tell us there is no list, they make a note on our account that we want the DVR. I was told they are in "testing" mode now, and that they are told not to give an introduction date...
