With all those love letters to Mr. Dolan it appears alot of people don't care about the HD-DVR lies from VOOM and all is forgiven. Oh Please VOOM just stay in business!

Just curious... but how much would it cost you to terminate Directv now instead of paying the monthly sub fee for the next 12 months?

I haven't seen one either. VOOM's website doesn't have it. Did VOOM reps just stand around at their booth all weekend and twiddle their thumbs? So is all this talk of March 2005 for their DVR really just speculation???

Sorry about dragging up this subject... but it shouldn't be swept under the carpet so easily imo. "Expect" and "May" mean two different things to me....so put me down as the 2nd person that didn't understand Sean's revision of VOOM's statement. So c'mon SatGuys let's get the wording as...

Bruce, That's not a good sign when the moderator is telling you to basically "take a hike". If VOOM doesn't announce their DVR today, then I consider that a BAD SIGN. What exactly is VOOM showing at their booth right now???

I voted no. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the same vaporware presentation they have given the last two times out. Scott can just repost his video of it from before. Cable's Dual Tuner DVRs are stealing VOOM's dwindling customer base. VOOM surprise me!

I pity the poor soul from VOOM that gets this assignment. This guy will get torched here if he demos it again using a pc and not a stb. A video of the demo (like Scott did last time) would be great if possible. If not, pictures are useful too.

Just about everyone has beat VOOM to the punch on this one. Dual Tuner HD-DVRs are starting to flood the market. March 2005 sure seems a long time till VOOM's next rumor distribution date, and VOOM's own website only says 2005.
