Advice please; Coolsat 6000 vs Pansat 3500SD

Hello All, It's been a while since I've posted, (mainly because everything was working great). My Pansat 3500S died the other day and I believe it's the power supply. When I turn it on the display comes on for a second and then slowly fades out. So I'm guessing it's time for a new one...

    Signal loss through Diseqc switch?

Just to throw in my 2 cents here. I've been having some problems over the past week or so with signal loss. First I'd have it, Then nothing. Sometimes it would just drop out in the middle of whatever I was trying to watch. When I got home tonight, (From a long day of playing golf :)), I saw...

    Hack Talk

To be a bit more specific here... Most of these people are leechers. A Hacker is someone who hacks their way into someone else's system. This requires skill. A cracker is a person that cracks codes. Also requires skill. A leech is someone who depends on the skills of others for their own...

    Pansat Pricing Question

Nice catch on the price Shawn. :) Shipping was fast, I had the receiver 3 days after ordering via USPS Priority Mail. Even came with a cable and 4 port switch. With the aid of this forum, I didn't need any dealer support... :D

    Friday Fun Poll!

I would love to have some HD stuff. I say this mainly because I'm still a little new to all of this and don't know the difference between 4:2:0 and 4:2:2. I'll have to look that up sometime. :)

    Motor Question

I'll try the 80cm on the Stab 120 with USALS and see if there's a difference this weekend. I've been concerned that the weight of the 120cm may be throwing things off a bit. The motor seems a bit strained when it has to move that far. Besides, I've been looking for an excuse to slap on the...

    Motor Question

Larry, According to the calculator, I need 55.7 degrees. According to the manual, I have 55.0 degrees. I'm just shy by .7 degrees. I may have to swap the dishes and Put an SG motor on my 80cm and fix mount the 120cm for some NASA C-Band on AMC6. Thanks All,

    Pansat 3500 question

OK, We'd still need to know exactally what LNB you have, Make and Model, but we'll start with what we know... If you don't already have a signal meter, you should get one. The link below is for the SF-95 from Sadoun and it's an essential peice of equipment to have...

    Pansat 3500 question

I think we need a little more info... 1. Is your system motorized? 2. What kind of LNB do you have? (Make & Model) I am on the east coast as well and started out with a 33" Fortec dish with no problems. I would suggest trying another LNB if you have one.

need help with pansat 3500 and 11966h

You will only void your warranty if you load illegal code on your machine. If you download the latest SW, (v1.10), from www.pansatusa.com you should be fine. It's always a good idea to load the latest version of the software, but make sure you get it from the makers website. This is the...

    Dish is coming down...

I'm sure you know this, but I used a marker to make lines from the mount to the pole so I could just line up the lines when reinstalling. Saves the trouble of re-aiming everything. Good Luck!

    Always funny

Being a computer consultant by day, (Superhero by night) I have the following suggestion to aid in this situation. Since this board is written in PHP, create a new page that gives a message, (in big letters) that there is NO HACK TALK allowed. When a new user signs up for the forum and they...

    SF-95 and ASC-421

I got the ASC-421 LNB for my 1.2m dish on Friday, (Thanks Pete), but I can't seem to get my meter to register a signal. So I have 2 questions... 1. Will the SF-95 work with the C-Band LNB? 2. If not, What meter should I use? Thanks,

    HH120 + 1.2m Dish

Well I had a chance to try this last night and sure enough, (As I never doubted it), Sadoun is correct. By Selecting the Horizontal TP, The dish flew back so fast It came right off the pole!!!... Well, OK, not quite that fast, but none the less a great imporvment is dish movement. Thanks for...
