    New setup

I'm very familiar to your location. DCA Satellite HQ was close to Stuttgart, plus we provided equipment to the TSC-54 at Augsburg. Small World!

    New setup

I spent 13 months at Ft Gordon, then went to Landstuhl West Germany in 1983 (60 foot FSC-78 & 38 foot GSC-39). I spent my last year with a 10 foot TSC-93 in Honduras. Where were you in Germany?

    FTA Satellite Dish Motor

Where did you find the prices that you listed? I was helping a friend get started with Ku last week and $125 was the cheapest that I saw for a STAB HH90. Thanks, Norman

    Luken Changing

I just scanned in 26 channels on the new transponder at 70% signal strength on my Amiko HD265. I had written the mux off in December because I had no signal on the 3920 transponder. :)

    Luken Changing

I'm in eastern Washington and get no signal at all on that transponder. I'm still getting Luken on 87 W and 55 other channels on 113 W.

    Luken Changing

I'm about 200 miles west of you. I get no signal on that transponder using my 10 foot Winegard. I get 55 other channels fine on 113 W. I receive the Luken mux with a 74 signal level on 87 W. I will miss it next month.

I like it! This is the first time that I did not see the Titanium ASC1 listed for $1175.00. :)

There is a company here in Washington selling a service with a $500+ receiver and a few pay channels. I have no clue how many subscribers that they have.

    USALS

    Thanks Brian.

    USALS

My DG 380 is HH. I simply meant that I have one C dish and 1 KU dish using 1 receiver.
  20. norman881

    USALS

I have a similar set up. I use USALS for my KU dish and DiSEqC 1.2 for my C-Band dish via the ASC1.
  21. norman881

    USALS

USALS is for KU band. You select your south most satellite to your location and enter your longitude and latitude. USALS will calculate the rest of the satellite positions on your list. There are too many different mounts for it to work with a C-Band set up. I am sure that others will give you...

Which new receiver with specific features?

My Amiko Impulse only loses 1 minute every 3 weeks. I have used it on and off for 3 years. I had to send my Linkbox 9000i Local in for repair. While it was gone, I got attached to the Amiko again. :)

    New FTA user

The offset dish is more efficient because the the feed assembly is not blocking the any of the signal from hitting the center of the dish.

    2x1 switch

I only have 2 dishes and do not plan on getting any more.
