    My Pansat 5000 just died. It was about two years old. I wasn't very happy! My wife was even less happy!! So, I bought a Coolsat 5000. I wanted the blind scan. I am going to miss the hard drive. It is a great way to record. Can you buy a unit with just a hard drive for recording?

    Pictures of a Primestar Dish.

    No I am not using the original LBN. I took the single LBN ,SHN-031 invacom LBN, that I had on my motorized dish and zip locked it on the Primestar dish. The Primestar dish that I got didn't have it's original LBN. It seem to work fine with the zip locks.

    I have a 30'' by 40'' primestar dish which didn't have a lnb when I got it. All I did was use a zip tie on it. Works great! I have it pointing to G10.

    List of North American FTA PVR?

    I have a pansat 5000. I am a little disappointed in it. The timer doesn't work all that great. It doesn't alway stop. So, we don't use the timer all that much. I guess that I was a little spoiled after the Dish Network pvr.

    I moved the motor a few degrees to true south 165'. I did have to reset the dish. It was still on G10. should I of move the dish to G10 then reset the dish even though it is coming in good? It would change the arch. Is G10 my true south? Echo 121 seems to be closer? Thanks
