Where I worked (when I got satellite radio), we had various local stations over PA speakers (changed daily). I recall 1 station played Doobie Grey's "Drift Away" about 5 times a day. Is old equipment still usable?
Yes, that worked! Channel 0 is the radioid and 1 is Preview. It's been so long since I used it that I forgot about that! Why wouldn't they? It's the XMDirect module -- XMD1000, meant to be used with a car head unit. I guess that aftermarket HU manufacturers didn't integrate satellite yet...- MichaelK

Is old equipment still usable?
Hello. Yes, I just registered today. I'd like to know if old equipment (e.g. pre-merger) is still usable. I had XM service, but had to drop it about 2006. Are the radio and antenna still usable?- MichaelK
