OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Well, I got it aligned with good results. I have it tuned for 89w, 101w, 105w, 113w, 117w, 123w, and 129w. I tried 87w for fun before moving the LNB to 89, and I was still able to lock Newsource at 11.7dB, and I still had a viewable signal on LPB. But I have dedicated dishes for 87, 97, 99, and...

OTHER FTA newb trying to set up a GT Media V7 pro need help

I've never used the V7 Pro but I have a V7x5 that works alright as a bedroom TV receiver. You're going to have to enter all of your satellites manually. I'm not familiar with how to run a blind scan, but it should have that feature for sure.

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Maybe 76cm by the time you get 18-20 degrees off center. However, 14.6dB on VAKN sure is better than that. I'm not saying this is perfect but I have no easy way to motorize my 1.2m Channel Master dish. My STAB motor is out of commission and they closed down. If I ever find a 1.8m, I will take...

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Very nice. That is one thing I have to work on. My LNB rail may be sitting a little off of the proper angle on one end. I noticed when setting up a few LNBs, my 105w LNB near the center locked a really strong 14.6dB C/n signal for VAKN. But I had a really weak signal on 123w until I twisted the...

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

I have a 4 dish farm already for 87, 97, 99, and 103. I'm attempting to get 89, 101, 105, 113, 117, 123, 129 with the T90. I may move an LNB to the T90 for 97 to free up a standalone dish too. This should give me most of everything for Ku.

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Thanks. Funny thing is from reading the prior threads on the T-90, I have already basically read each of your responses already LOL. This one hasn't been clamshelled but I was curious about the guy who emailed the company and the engineer recommended the support be removed altogether.

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with a wave frontier t-90. I bought one used but in good condition. Original owner was in over his head and never had more than 2 LNBs set up. He was careful to move it gently but I am now wondering if I need to check the main reflector for warping after...

    OTHER Connecting 2 diseqc 1.1 8x1 switches

I am adding a torrodial dish to my Ku farm and am curious about adding 8 more inputs to my current 8x1 system. Is there anything I can do other than spending $30 on an ecoda 22khz switch? I have another extra 4x1 diseqc switch handy too btw

    OTHER Primestar Feedhorns

Update... I swapped the feedhorn that came with the Eagle Aspen beer can replacement LNB with the larger horn on my 1m Primestar. C/N went up 0.5dB and MER up about 0.3dB. Certainly helps with marginal feeds a little. It's a good dish for 87w. I let my bigger dishes pull in the tougher feeds on...

    OTHER Primestar Feedhorns

That's why I was confused. Both these were with 1m dishes.

    OTHER GTMedia

It has an older looking menu interface and not as fast scanner. But it works pretty well for $35 on ebay.

    OTHER Primestar Feedhorns

I came across 2 of the 1m Primestars. One had a bigger feedhorn than the other. I'm curious if anybody knows about this. I've only seen the smaller horns. The dish with the larger horn didn't have a feed cover, but I'm not sure if it's because it was long lost or Primestar never made a feed...

    OTHER GTMedia

GT Media forum is shady. But their V8UHD model receiver does work well. Blind Scan is fast and doesn't miss much. And I can watch the 4K NASA feed on my 4K TVs. The interface is decent. Their other models are not as refined. Amiko is better, but if you want to save a few bucks, the GT Media...

    OTHER ID this Primestar

I also got a cool PrimeStar waterproof box for the grounding block and/or switch to be housed.

    OTHER ID this Primestar

Great to hear. I figured the only 84E size had 84E stamped on it. Looks like a good candidate for a multifeed dish for 2 or 3 birds.

    OTHER ID this Primestar

I need help identifying this old Primestar dish I was given. It's bigger than my 75cm but not an 84E... Mold no 1x0.7-3 Anyone familiar with this mold?

    OTHER Ku Dish Farm Advice?

I'm brainstorming a proper way to add a cable entry point on the cheap for my shed. This dryer vent cover will work but does anyone have any other similar idea?

    OTHER Ku Dish Farm Advice?

I do have an Inverto Pro Black Dual flange LNB on a C-120 feedhorn for my main 1.2m now. It is absolutely top notch. I got my Mavericks for $5 each but now I can't find them under $15. The GeoSatPro looked like the best bang for my buck.

    OTHER Ku Dish Farm Advice?

What is the go-to Ku LNBF now? I have 4 Mavericks but I can't find them as cheap as I once could. Are the GeoSatPros just as good?

No combo LNBFs on my farm lol

    OTHER Ku Dish Farm Advice?

Just 2 or 3. But I'd like to combine the C band with the Ku if possible without too much hassle.

    OTHER Ku Dish Farm Advice?

I'm likely looking at 14 or 15 LNBs to cover what I want to watch. All standard LNBs. What would you do? I have a 4x8 multiswitch that I can work with too that I used to distribute my C band and previously motorized ku dish. I rather keep this intact with the multiswitch, but I am struggling...
