Yes, receiver to 4x1, then put an 8x1 on port 1, and an 8x1 on port 2 (etc.). Most receivers should handle it. I currently have two receivers (AZBox and Amiko) with a 4x1 and one 8x1 on port one.

It is no big deal for me to re-initialize the time when needed, as I don't do recordings with a timer. Plus, you and I also know what happened the last time I did an upgrade of software, and I'm not going through that again! LOL!

100 is the correct number of television channels on 97W. They have been steadily decreasing over the past months/years. EDIT: Just checked my notes, and there were 111 television channels at the beginning of August 2022.
