With the house full of family & guests, I did not get a chance to experiment yesterday or yet today. My goal is to be able to view & hear programs off of the azbox to a remote tv via the rg59 cable that is already run under the house.

I'll have to try this tomorrow playing with audio options tomorrow. AFA the AC3 channels that I tried so far were BLTV, STO HD, THISTv (if I recall), MeTV (none of these worked) What did work: RTV on 83W KU, NBC feeds; STO SD, Al Jaz ohn 121.

Next dumb newby question: Is their a way of sorting the channels listed (by hitting the 'guide' button) by which satellite they are found?

1) Radar; Gotta a chance to try a couple more channels. So here's the deal: The audio is good-to-go as long as it's NOT AC3 audio! 2) So that leads to the next question, hdfan: Is there a setting that allows AC-3 audio to be passed through the RF output??

Buying a used computer for the entertainment center would almost be cheaper than running 50' of hdmi or vga under the house:)

I knew that Netflix used a 'proprietary' method for streaming to one's computer, blue ray or roku. I was hoping that there might be a way of 'restreaming' a program to the AZbox through the home network. Our main computer is in a bedroom office about 40-50 ft from the family room TV.

I recently noticed that the azboxusa's site no longer shows the Elite model. If you look for the "Elite" you get directed to the Ultra model. Does this mean that the Elite is now no longer available?
