    thanks, it is a business that im going to this week so i just want to be prepared to answer questions, bell has installed the dish but not sure what lnbs yet....all they have told me is they "want 5 tvs hooked up"....so not sure if that means 5 receivers yet or not....im thinking they might...

    how can i run 5 receivers from one dish? i know an sw44 does 4 receivers, but i need 5.... on a seperate note....is it possible to run multiple tvs from one bell receiver? (4 or 5) if they all are watching the same channel all the time?

    just in case anybody is asking the same question....it does NOT work....the MA rating is different....another thing i found out was the power inserter from a DPP34 is also different from the DPP44 and are not compatible/interchangeable....

    not sure where to put this question, just wondering if anybody knows if the power inserters from a SW44 and a DPP44 are compatible/interchangeable? i have a power inserter from a SW44 and i would like to use it on a DPP44 switch, will this work?

    Okay I think the mystery is solved then, this guy already has a seperator at one of his receivers, so that must mean he has a DPP, is that correct?

    i have a customer who currently has a dptwin LNB(internal switch)....hooked up to this is one SD receiver with a direct cable run, and a second HD PVR receiver with a direct cable run and a seperator at the receiver.... they are wanting 2 additional receivers hooked up so i am thinking a dpp44...

    yes he is correct...HD is on 82w and you can not get that satellite there very soon you will not get 91w there also....

    so you can use diseqc switches? how does the dual shaw lnb work? do you need two cables out of it for each receiver? is it basically two lnbs in one housing?

    yeah we shovelled and salted the roof so that wasnt too bad....the problem came when trying to get down....just as i stepped on the extension ladder the bottom of it at the ground started to slide away along the ground....i just hopped back on the roof in time....lol

    yeah pretty much....i guess my questions were more aimed toward the actual receiver itself because i didnt have any experience with them....only hitch was coming very close to slipping off the roof once, there was about 2 inches of snow the night before....my heart skipped a few beats....lol
