    30" dish for BEV?

I appreciate all your input, trials and faults in trying to re-establish a good signal from BEV. Being in NoCal I've already given up on it, but because I'm still under contract I still pay. I plan on trading it away for a SC unit after the summer is done. I know there isn't too much being...

Missing Some BEV Transponders in California

I'm receving everything except for xponders 21 and 23. The ones slated on N3 are weaker than the others, but that is expected for Northern California exposure. I'm using a Toroidal 90 with a range from 81 thru 121W. I hope too much doesnt change because im binded for another 6 months using my...

I installed BeVU in Boston, not activated yet. Need help!

Let us know how it went, please? I too have purchased a Xvu system but I already established programming for it. The only thing is under that activation, the 82 bird wasn't recognized as an option during my programming initialization. So I'm able to get some HD channels, which opened up because...

    dish size for Brownsville

I am using a Toroidal 90. I don't exactly know its dimensions, but I'd place it similar to a 30" collector. I also use the T-90 to see birds at 97,101,105,110,119, & 121 W. Most are Dishnets, 97 for a filipino service, and the 110 lnb is that reversed "C" type to get my direct HD's.

    dish size for Brownsville

Now I live in Northern California. I can receive some of the N3 transponders, but they are 50% at best on strength. Has anyone tried a very large collector, 3 to 6 feet,to improve those signal levels? I'm willing to try anything to get a better signal, and possibly pull in transponders 23 and 7...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

Yeah, for the most part. Only channel 457, according to the list, which uses transponder 23 which is on Nimiq 3 that I cannot receive. Watch...it'll be the one channel that has Raider Games. *phhhhffbt* Just my luck. OK, so I am going to enjoy my 9200 a little more. I just need to overcome some...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

I did a scan of the transponders I can receive on Nimiq 3 with a fta receiver, hoping that their respective channel identifiers during a scan. But I think the signals are so low, that they never came up. I have a feeling those NFL games will be on those darkened spots. Only thing I can do now is...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

ken, thank you for your input. I've obtained a new 9200 and currently LOVE using it here in NOcal. I agree that a 2 dish solution is workable especially if you were to obtain collectors to accept the D shaped dish pro heads and an appropriate dish pro plus switch like the DPP44. I will consider...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

the 9200 unit is Dish Pro Plus capable, therefore the single line solution can apply, as discussed earlier, which consists of a Dish Pro Plus LNBF twin with 20" collector a dish pro plus separator connected to both satellite leds on the receiver. Now, since I live in Northern California a 20"...

Packages & Prices of Bell Expressvu

well shiznits, I'll go for that! I'll even go thru the trouble of having an address in Toronto, paying my uncle for the service, obtaining a bell HD unit and their whole nine yards including paying their basic package. My only problem would be if any of those games will be on transponders that...
