You'd still be paying like $40 with all the taxes and sh*t (and more if you have more than one IRD) with Dish for that package... believe me, that was the plan I had for a while after moving to Voom.

I was thinking about keeping E* as my failover, but after checking their programming a few more times and noticing how crappy (and expensive) their equipment is, I'm pretty much ready to go with TWC once again here in Houston (at least I will not have to pay anything for their HD equipment)...

Silas: If Voom's PQ is 'subpar'... then all others (E*, D*, TWC and Comcast) are the 'shittiest' ever... why? how do I support this? well, right now I have Voom and E* and has previously been a subscriber to D*, TWC and Comcrap... and with all services, I have used the same type of high-end...

46" + 16:9 + 1080i = pure HD sweetness :) I only have a 46" because of the size of my current apartment really makes things difficult when trying to accommodate a bigger unit... but I'm getting my first house in mid August... and it will be 'inaugurated' with a 60"+ TV then :D!

Mine looks really good on a 46" Toshiba 46H84 RP HDTV @ 1080i. Maybe you just need to adjust your TV's resolution.

Motos are good, but Sony could surely offer a better product.

Both HD and SD channels are looking much, much better today.

Maybe because is not that easy and the guys from Fox Sports Network aren't sure yet about how 'stable' the situation with Voom is.
