I wondered why Voom Died, Now I know!

Joemama. As a former voomer I can say that sure the programs on V were a little repetitive, but really no more than any premium movie channel. Watch Starz (only on V), Cinemax (only on V) or HBO for a week and see how many times they show the same stuff. Considering that I was paying about...

What's the point, unless you bought the equipment, you move on. I really liked the Atari Jaguar, and buggy whips. WHo can I sue.

So now that voOm looks like its going to survive what does it need to change?

DVR in Feb or March, Trim down the cinema channels to improve variety lessen repetitiveness and add some pay per view channels. Thanks Mr. Dolan. You are the most bad ass risk taker I have ever seen. GIve me a job.

Now that VOOM is dead, who will be your provider?

Man, you people without VOom have no idea how much this sucks. Even my Sd channels on V looked awesome on my Sammy DLP. I have 31 HD channels right now. THis sucks

Anyone else quiting when the new prices kick in?

Keeping it. Any other package from any other provider pales. THe SD quality is better than D or E compared to my friends. THey can't believe the amount of HD I get. Sure, Im actually tired of looking at Cheryl Crows ass in HD, but it still better than most anything on SD channels. I smile...

    Promises promises

I've had D*. I've had Adelphia. I currently only have VOOM. If it disappears tomorrow it will be a letdown to go to any other service. Nothing comes close to the amount of programming they provide. I have watched HD almost exclusively for the past six months. Try doing that with any...

    Promises promises

Positives: Miramax deal guarantees good martial arts and foreign flicks TNTHD is nice to have. The change from Bravo to Universal HD will be cool. The movies on Monster are cool. The Cinema 10 has shown some great flicks lately. We got more HD then any other provider, and I...

    Hey! I'm not leaving!

VOom is awesome. Installation experience sucked. But, for the past two weeks, I have watch about 95% HD programming. I enjoy most of the exclusives. I've watched a handful of concerts (tori amos, counting crows, wilco, joh hiatt) and my kids love tank. I watched about three flicks in there...
