There are very few channels anywhere that are available that are worth a rats ass but somehow they find themselves on bird. I am not sure I would go as far as INDY because Iwould watch anthing as long as it was in HD. The experince makes it so different and allows to to experiece TV differently...

Well I am going to wait and see what shakes out. I have been looking at a Canadian option which would give me all the networks in HD which I don't know get OTA locally except for PBS. I am in no hurry to jump just as yet.

I agree and my GI 4dtv is about 10 years old or so. I got my value out of it Motorola marketing has already said that to them the sidecar is now dead and no plans to make a new 4dtv receiver with HD capability.

Even though I have a 4DTV receiver from GI, I might think of waiting; and getting the new 530 DRV receiver to match up with my old BUD. The american sidecar didn't even have DVI or Component outputs. Don't know about the Can version.
