    DarrelP- Don't reduce your screen size. Be proud that you have a bigger screen than 99% percent of the people out there. Although you trump me, (92"), I wouldn't give up any of it. If you're not happy with the picture, that's all that matters. Voom won't be around that much longer anyway...

    If it is like all the other satellite services, the guide is only spooled on one transponder. To get the guide, the box has to tune to that transponder. While your box is on, it can't get the new guide so it ages away.

    While my modest 92" screen isn't quite as big as DarrllP's, I have to agree with him. It really bugs me to see video that isn't as good as it could be because of overcompression and low bandwidth(sat) or a poor transfer(dvd). To me it looks like the trend in HD tv's is they keep getting bigger.
