:eek: You tell 'em Esoph! My Voom PQ was never perfect (well CBS OTA looked as good as I've ever seen a broadcast image) but it was never nearly as bad as DarrellP would have you believe. I think he tries to find something wrong.

FWIW, the Yankee - Red Sox game was blacked out in the Boston area tonight as well on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes on Voom. However, it was carried on the UPN local in HD and I think it was on NESN as well. Yankees looked sharp for the most part, the Red Sox looked terrible.

Did you bother to ask the CSR's whether they meant March 2005 or 2006? If there is anything to learn from this forum it is that one should never believe that a CSR knows anything regarding Voom's future (of course the same should be said regarding just about everyone here in this forum).

I first noticed it about a little over a week ago. I could have sworn it was blacked out before. Tonight I surfed by and they were showing girls high school basketball. I've got no interest in this channel but I bet Floridians love and I guess that's the whole point of a regional sports network.

They said it wouldn't last a year but I've just celebrated a solid year's worth of service from VOOM. I can't recall how many industry pundits and experts said that VOOM was doomed and wouldn't last a year but alas facts are facts and the real truth is that there are a lot of professional idiots...

I'm hoping you aren't about to make a choice for or against VOOM based on its SD channel lineup. That would be like choosing the best restaurant on how well they prepare a grilled cheese.
