Overall I think you're better off with a 24" over a 30" because the 30" will wobble more in high winds and affect the signal. I've had the 24" for several months now and it's made a definite improvment during rain storms.

Had my upgrade 24" dish installed and now have a signal strength of 97~98. We've had lot's of rain here in Dallas during June and even now into July so I'm hoping this cuts down on my rain fade and signal loss substantially.

I had my install completed on Saturday (McKinney,TX) with no problems. I already had an antenna installed in the attic, for OTA receiver I had, which he used. Mounted dish and ran new cable, which I had pull string in place to fish through the wall in living room, to receiver. I pulled the cable...
