Ok then mine is set to 1080i but I am still not getting the stretch. Should it still stretch the local channels? That is where I am having issues.

I currently have it set to 1080i but I am still getting the 4:3 picture. Is the line on the box supposed to stay lit? For example, I have it set to 1080i so should the top line stay lit? Mine does not have any light that stays lit, just curious if this is normal or not.
