Oh, I thought you were saying that everything on the streaming apps was on the Directv VOD channels. That's what "on demand" means usually.

Certainly there is quite a bit of content on HBO Max that isn't on any of the linear channels, so everything streaming is not on demand.

WXLV ABC45 in Greensboro NC uses Spectrum News for their local news, so that market has had Spectrum News in some form for a long time. But Dallas seems to be the first to be broadcasting the full 24 hour network.

Adultswim is part of Cartoon network, which already has a west feed. You can make your own west coast feed with a dvr and watch anything you want 3 hours later...

I do see the streaming programs on Directv you mentioned above now, and the boxing events from the premiums are there, too. Those events are on channels in the 9530s. Good call with Thursday Night Football, we'll see what happens there.

Can we talk about how streaming is technically in-home only? It is technically illegal to stream in public. It has been hinted at in this thread but not directly addressed. Bars can not legally stream Amazon, unless that law is changed. Or ESPN+ or any of those apps/streamers.
