I have a Gateway M675 with universal jacks but I cannot get sound from the adapter so I purchased a Soundblaster Audigy ZS notebook and I still cannot get sound. I take it to work and plug it into a regular sound card and it works fine. Any ideas as to what is going on???? :(
My notebook comes with universal jacks but I still can not get audio so I had to purchase an pcmcia audigy card although I haven't had a chance to see how it will work. Seems that using the usb port would be a much better idea for those using a laptop.
