There's on ONE station in NYC that doesn't have a digital subchannel. WCBS-DT. I did notice a subchannel one day while flipping through and it was the Democratic Convention, but went dark after that. I think maybe ONE sub channel is ok but not if it's crap. How many more GD weather channels do...

I have a CM4228 and WABC-7 here in NYC currently broadcasts on UHF 45 but I've read they're going back to 7 as well as WPIX ch11 and WNET ch 13. I can get all 3 of the analog stations very well on this antenna so I assume I'll be able to get them when they go digital

I NEVER had ANY problems w 451. They have a newer 1 now DTB-H260F. Cheaper $180 and smaller. Real small

The only thing I know of is the Sonys or the Satellite ones, but Dish is expensive, I assume Direct is too.

I've only had Samsung tuners and they were all good. I'd recommend a SIR-T451 or the newer one (smaller than a coffee table book) DTB-H260F. I'm sure it is as GREAT as the 451. Really an excellent tuner.
