KCTV, Ch. 5.3 has switched from This TV to Start TV

I wish KTV would get rid of most of their sub channels and go back to only having one or two, and then their main feed 13 or 15 mbps.

Interactive music videos soon to be on ATSC 3.0...

Exactly.. I mean this looks like a cool service, but not if I have to buy a new TV to get it.. I already feel hosed on the ATSC 3.0 tuner I bought from SiliconDust.

    ATSC 3.0 DRM Encryption

ATSC 3.0 seems a lot like HD radio. Something nobody asked for and nobody really wants.

    ATSC 3.0 DRM Encryption

The fact that any over the air broadcast station is encrypted is an abomination to begin with. These are local TV stations that nobody is able to watch. What's the point?

    ATSC 3.0 DRM Encryption

I sure wish I hadn't dropped $200 on my SiliconDust Flex 4K ATSC 3.0 tuner when it came out. Here we are, December 31, 2023 and the thing is pretty much a brick when it comes to decoding encrypted 3.0 stations. Anybody wanna buy it??

New OTA bandscan tuners in New Mexico

I see KOAT in Albuquerque has a tuner at their studio location. It appears to be tuning a station in Arizona, 167 miles away. Can that be accurate? NM doesn't get much, if any, tropo activity.
