If your only 6 miles from the tower, why not try a Zenith silver sensor? You can get one from Amazon.com for under $30.00(at least when I bought mine). I use mine and get signals from about 40 miles away no problem, though I do need to tweak it a bit to get the best signal.

Here in Walla Walla, WA, there is no OTA HD. KFFX-Fox says that they dont have the money to upgrade now, maybe in 5-7 years. KEPR-CBS says they dont ever plan on upgrading unless thier equipment breaks or are forced to and the KNDU-NBC and KVEW-ABC say they have plans but they are "long term"...
