    Choosing an OTA Antenna

    I thought all HD channels were UHF. I receive El Paso CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX HD. They say channel 4, 7, 9, 14 but there actually UHF freq 15,16, 17, and 18. What I don't understand is why you need a big VHF antenna unless you want non HD.
