    It's not a different box, it's software that runs on the same Motorola DVR that you may have right now, so storage would be the same.

    These kinds of additions would only make sense to me if you were in the middle of some sports markets, and they were say the local CBS and FOX stations, so you could see all the games of those area teams (NFL). But NBC has virtually no regional sports, except for NHL I think. WEIRD!!!

    Are your boxes of the 8300HD or 8300HDC flavor? If they are HDC models, there are known issues with these boxes on Comcast, so exchanging yours for another one of the same would not help.

    I would guess that there is a good chance that any plans by Adelphia for digital simulcast will be scrapped and left for the new owner (Comcast for me, Time Warner for you in Buffalo) to do. Just a hunch.

    I experienced this problem with HDNet a few months ago, here in Connecticut. Whatever the problem was, I haven't seen it since then. Don't know if it's even related to what you're problem is, but tossed it out there anyway.
