Have Spectrum for internet service only. Speed was increased to 100+ over a month ago.

I signed up for the 60 meg speed a few weeks ago. My cost is $45 per month plus $5 more for the WiFi modem. Don't know what the cost will jump up to after the year is up. But it's worth it to me as I proceed with my "cord cutting".

No, didn't miss that. But conversation has been about internet. Would like to hear specifically opinions about their tv service. If tv service sucks, what is the problem with it? Would really like to hear first hand experience so I am better able to make an informed decision when the time comes.

Thanks for all the info guys. Very helpful. As previously stated, WOW Cable is coming in. My intention is to leave DTV, but want to see what WOW is offering before I decide which to go with. Then even possibly go to one of the streaming services like Vue.

I'm getting between 12 and 13 MB down with my Windstream DSL. I am perfectly happy with that and can't even imagine what that speed is like.

This is a dirty network trick that also affects those who just want to change to another network at the top of the hour. Costs us the meaningful first minute of the next favorite program. Too bad that the FCC can't or won't do anything to stop this practice.

Go back to the component cables and give that a try. Seems to be quite a bit of problems out there when trying to use the HDMI cables.

Can only speak for what we have here in N.E. Ohio - No problem with freeze-ups. HD quality is exactly the same as over the air reception. Full resolution as transmitted by the networks and cable channels, unlilke the downrezzed compressed quality from the satellite providers.

We probably have a total of about 23 in my area.

HDNET and HDNETMOVIES are now gone from my area in NE Ohio. Replacing them are Smithsonian HD and some other junk channel that I can't even identify. Wish they would have added a couple of channels like Animal Planet and National Geographic.

MGM HD has replaced MOJO in my area also. At least on the program guide. Has been there for several weeks, however, I do not receive it. What's up with that? I do have their top tier digital package.
