    Charter Spectrum Speed Increases

Have Spectrum for internet service only. Speed was increased to 100+ over a month ago.

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

I signed up for the 60 meg speed a few weeks ago. My cost is $45 per month plus $5 more for the WiFi modem. Don't know what the cost will jump up to after the year is up. But it's worth it to me as I proceed with my "cord cutting".

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

Guess Harshness has a problem with me attempting to get specific info on their tv service. No matter. It is a moot point now. One of their sales people came around last night looking for new customers. Their "introductory" offer for the 3 tier bundle is over $121 per month. (Such a...

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

No, didn't miss that. But conversation has been about internet. Would like to hear specifically opinions about their tv service. If tv service sucks, what is the problem with it? Would really like to hear first hand experience so I am better able to make an informed decision when the time comes.

How about WOW's tv service - what do you think of it?

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

Thanks for all the info guys. Very helpful. As previously stated, WOW Cable is coming in. My intention is to leave DTV, but want to see what WOW is offering before I decide which to go with. Then even possibly go to one of the streaming services like Vue.

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

Haven't bit for their teasers yet. Still have DTV and am waiting to see what the new cable company (WOW) installing in the area now will have to offer. Just had a hard time believing their 60 Meg claim. Still would like to know what they mean by "starting speed". Wasn't aware of the Charter...

    TIME WARNER NOW SPECTRUM

All of a sudden Time Warner is no more and Spectrum has magically appeared. Seemingly making new and different offerings. Used to be a bundle of tv, internet and phone for $90. Now it's each service separately for $30 each. Still $90. What's different is the internet "starting speed" of 60...

    Speed increase to 250 mB!

I'm getting between 12 and 13 MB down with my Windstream DSL. I am perfectly happy with that and can't even imagine what that speed is like.

BACK TO TWC AND MY VIEWPOINTS

Not everyone knows what is meant when you say "shout". Just as I didn't when I set up my name here. But I can't do anything about it now.

Prgrams run long, cant adjust stop times

This is a dirty network trick that also affects those who just want to change to another network at the top of the hour. Costs us the meaningful first minute of the next favorite program. Too bad that the FCC can't or won't do anything to stop this practice.

    New Look Back Feature

All was good last night and so far today. Seems to be an intermittant problem. Still think it has something to do with them working on the look-back feature. Maybe they are done now (hopefully). Also noticed on one of these posts that ABC had been added to "On Demand". I looked and sure...

    New Look Back Feature

Did you have signal problems with your TW as they were adding the "look back" feature Steve? It has become absolutely terrible here. So bad that it has got me to thinking of throwing the cable out. Last night while trying to watch Dexter on Showtime, the "start over" prompt must have popped...

    New Look Back Feature

Well Steve, apparently you have a hell of a lot more "start over" channels in your area than we have here. Plus didn't mention in my previous post how badly their apparent setting up of this "look back" feature is f***ing up all of the channels. Was so bad last night on ABC that I had to go to...

    New Look Back Feature

This to me seems to be a totally redundant feature. It is only now just getting set up to go in the Cleveland area, but from what I see of it, it is just another way of seeing what is already available on "on demand". But very much limited. Also from what I see, it will only be available on...

    ENHANCED??????

Guess I can answer my own inquiry now. This "Enhanced" pop-up was apparently the precurser for this channel adding the "start over" feature. Noticed it for the first time yesterday, so they must have activated it over the last day or so. Mystery solved. Was surprised that no one had an...

    ENHANCED??????

One of the local digital HD channels displays the word "enhanced" every time I go there. But when I hit the "select" button it always comes up as not presently available and try again later. Anyone know what the H*** this is supposed to be? Don't see this on any other channel. This has been...

Time Warner "favorites" list when I select "guide"

Same here. Have favoritized only the 4 major networks and liked the ability to see them grouped together when planning the evenings viewing. Now I have junk channels between them. Plus after all the downloading of the guide changes recently, can't see much of anything different. Certainly...

Getting a soft, unstable picture on my Samsung LCD.

Go back to the component cables and give that a try. Seems to be quite a bit of problems out there when trying to use the HDMI cables.

    Serious Question (directv subscriber)

Can only speak for what we have here in N.E. Ohio - No problem with freeze-ups. HD quality is exactly the same as over the air reception. Full resolution as transmitted by the networks and cable channels, unlilke the downrezzed compressed quality from the satellite providers.

WNY Adding more HD in the coming month.

We probably have a total of about 23 in my area.

Must really be nice! Pickins are mighty slim in my area comparatively.

    COMINGS & GOINGS

HDNET and HDNETMOVIES are now gone from my area in NE Ohio. Replacing them are Smithsonian HD and some other junk channel that I can't even identify. Wish they would have added a couple of channels like Animal Planet and National Geographic.

new hd channels coming in december

MGM HD has replaced MOJO in my area also. At least on the program guide. Has been there for several weeks, however, I do not receive it. What's up with that? I do have their top tier digital package.
