    Anybody got the on-screen Caller ID yet?

    they told me the same thing, it was working fine when i got installed and had an ov number forwarded to my new vz number but once i port my number no more caller id on the tv. Called up and on the follow up call I was told the same as you.

    keep in mind with vz you get all the on demands included with cablevision each one is an extra $5 also the dvr is free for a year then they bill you for it. Also same thing for the internet they(cablevision) give you boost free for one year then you pay for that also.

    its supposed to be able to skip commercials just like you currently can. However its also supposed to give you the ablity to due online scheduling. And record more the 2 channels at a time.

    voom is still available internationally and they are still producing new shows for it. I wish they would at least give us the the voomhd and rush channels which they market internationally still

    i guess one of the reasons they are getting this channel is for a replacement of Ultra im sure once the analogs are removed we will get the HD version as well.

    shouldnt that happen once a week and not every night? and the guide info isnt that stored in the ram of the cable box and not the harddrive just like the non dvr boxes?

    i understand they do update but the dont do them every night. This is a nightly event. I can see it shouldnt be power cycling the hard drive the box remains power off only the hard drive spins. The updates should not effect the harddrive.

    nope completely incorrect the father is the one who started it and fought to keep the satellite service running. the son and board members shut it down.

    whatever they do i hope they dont replace them with more hd placeholders like nick, mtv, vh1 etc. that show zero hd programming. I hope that they start adding the multiplexes of the movie channels.
