You can listen to their conference call from their earnings report. They are working on offering voom (no timetable) and said they wil have more HD this year for sure.

I am fairly certain the DVI jack works simultaneoulsy with the Component jack. Pretty sure you will be ok with svideo and comp or HDMI.

Some nice tips I did not know about. While not as polished as some of the older Dish PVR's (501/522) I had, the 8300 is far more stable then the 522 ever was AND records HD :).

Very glad I switched from Dish to cablevision. Saving money, havean HD PVR and now Yankess in HD. They add Hdnet, Discovery hd and INHD2 and all will be perfect (until FIOS comes out with their TV offerings).
