I dumped Uverse after a year, due to PQ issues, the 2 hd stream limitation, and the drop in Internet speeds when using 2 hd channels.. Went back to comcrap, and saved 40 bucks a month, got the 50-10 internet speeds, and better HD PQ, and have all 6 of my hd tv's hooked up and they can get HD...

wow, I only had 5 service calls and that was enough for me! Comcast has done alot of infrastructure improvements in my area, and, so far, for the few days I have had them, its like night and day better than my Uverse was.. I hope Uverse gets better too, as i did like them when things worked...

your PQ will vary, depending on the install, and the wiring in your household; some folks are thrilled, while others hate it..My PQ was fine until about 2 months ago, and now I suffer from pizelation/macroblocking, and occasional picture freezage, so I am leaving Uverse. you get 4 TOTAL...

absolutely incoorect; Verizon FIOS is Fiber ALL THE WAY INTO YOUR HOUSE!! Uverse is NOT ALWAYS like that; they use your copper phone lines in most cases... There is NO joint effort between these 2 companies in regards to home entertainment delivery... They are 2 different corporations...

I have had the same experience as paja; PQ is generally wonderful, and their SD PQ BLOWS EVERYONE ELSE away...almost "HD like" Occasional PQ issues on FOX, but, I have had that with every provider over the last few years..

The newest one is 320 gigs, but they are not in every area yet.. I'm hoping for Comedy Central and Nickelodeon in HD soon too!

as of now, its not really even been in the "rumour mill"..although with ATT, they are like Apple, in that they never annoumce anything ahead of time; it just shows up.. but, this issue hasn't really gotten alot of attention on the boards, so its hard to say if its even on the drawing boards...

yeah,any fox channel in HD is a problem for me as well...i've heard about the Sports Center Studio issue, so I will check that out tomorrow.. Glad you think the SD is great, since pretty much everyone who has UVerse agrees that their SD is the best, by far of any provider...

do you happen to remember what channels you noticed that on? I'd like to check it out and see if its just certain channels, or if its on a certain kind of tv.. I have lcd, plasma, and sxrd...do you happen to remember what kind of set you saw it on? thanks!

you obviously don't spend much time on the forums, or you would know that the VAST MAJORITY of people DO NOT have the issues you are talking about.. Do you have Uverse at home? How long have YOU had it??? How many setups have you actually seen? I have 6 hd tv's from 70 inches down to 23...

You must be on a pretty empty Comcast "node"; in my area, I used to watch the speeds drop to almost dial up like as the day would go on, and, around 7 or 8 pm at night, it was terrible! There really isnt any reason to keep Dish, since they have no real programming that is better or different...

you'll really like uverse internet better at 6pm on a weeknight, when you still get the same speed as you do in the middle of the night..Comcrap slows down terribly when every one gets home at dinner time and logs on to the internet, whereas Uverse speed is ALWAYS the same..if you find that not...

its hard to believe your installer did such a piss poor job.. I would make sure you contact their customer service department and have that fool fired, to make sure that he doesnt continue to do things like that to other customers.. I would make them come out and re-install, since using spliced...
