    Amazon Prime

Actually, AP was for free, two day shipping on eligible items purchased via Amazon. The video streaming was later added as an additional benefit. Amazon recently added unlimited music streaming to the service.

How will we watch TV in five years?

With our eyes. [rim shot] I'm here all week folks! Try the veal. :D

    Roku 3 for $64.99 Today

Never going to happen as long as Directv is still in business. ;)

    Roku 1

Yeah, after reading that, I don't know why you would want that.

    Roku 1

I don't even know what that is.

    Roku problem

Could be what Juan stated. Try another (better) cable, and see if the problem persists. Another than that, I have no clue. It might just be a faulty box as I have never seen this issue on my setup.

    Roku 1

May I ask why you bought a Roku 1? That box is a dinosaur in terms of its capabilities as compared with the current boxes. There are a lot of channels and features you're not going to get with that box, including the updated Netflix interface. Also, I know of no device where you don't have to...

    You tube on Roku 3

Like I said, I went through the whole channel store, including the new section, and I'm not seeing it. I even went so far as to reboot the box. Nothing.

    You tube on Roku 3

Is anyone actually seeing this on the Roku 3? I just went through the whole channel store and can't find it anywhere.

    Roku 3 for $64.99 Today

There's quite a bit more than those you've listed. Not to mention all the MLB, NBA, and NHL games. Plus, games via ESPN 3. I'm guessing you're not a sports fan. ;)

    Roku 3

How are you getting Youtube on a Roku?

    Play On worth it?

You can try the free trial they have to see if it's something you would want. For me, it's pretty much junk. The PQ is absolute garbage.

    Play On worth it?

PlayOn has an app for the Roku.

    New IPTV service?

2GB an hour for HD streaming would equate to a very low bitrate. It may or may not be acceptable, depending on what you're watching. The higher the bitrate, the better the PQ, and the more bandwidth consumed. Plus, I don't know about you, but I have more than one TV. Each TV is going to...

    New IPTV service?

Are you totally positive that you don't have a data cap? I didn't think my ISP had one, until I accidentally found it hidden deep within their website. No mention of it anywhere in plain sight.

    New IPTV service?

70-80 hours of streaming TV, mostly HD, will eat up a 300GB cap all by itself easily. I'd have to get a second ISP just to use the internet for everything else. No thanks. Quite frankly, if this sort of service is what will be the norm, in the future, ISP's are going to have to get rid of...

    New IPTV service?

General web surfing, watching an occasional movie or TV show from Netflix, watching several ballgames a month via MLB.TV, Youtube, etc, doesn't even get me close to my 300GB a month cap. Add 70-80 hours, a month, of TV viewing and I'm getting nasty letters from my ISP.

    New IPTV service?

I have cable internet, but my TV service is from Directv, so that's not likely in my case.
  19. B

    New IPTV service?

Not sure I'd want this. If your internet goes out, your TV programming goes out. Plus, streaming all your TV viewing will eat up your data cap real quick.

    That's exactly what I do.

    Classic TV

Yeah, they're going to have to come up with a better method.

    Classic TV

All I've seen so far is the same "Joker's Wild" episode over and over.

The New Roku Interface is Live

All you have to do is highlight the channel, press the * key, and select remove channel. What's so hard about that?

PBS and PBS Kids on Roku

When I saw that Roku "got PBS", I thought it was the actual network streaming live. Turns out, all it is an "on demand" channel, with only a handful of programs available. Disappointing.
