You are using an outdated Flash Player, the latest is 9.0.28.0 (your screenshot shows version 7), update it and it should be fine, as for shockwave, the latest vesion is, I think, 10.1.4.020.

If he is using a software firewall (for example, Norton), he needs to add his networks subnet (either the /32 or the /24 if more than one machine on the LAN) to the trusted networks list, so this false alert won't trigger again, because right now, the software seems to consider his LAN address...

What? It is _not_ an IP spoof, the attacking IP [1] was his machines LAN ip (192.168.2.12 [2]), and the target was Scotts webserver (see the little ->> arrow, it shows the direction of the attack). [1]: Not really an attack, the users brain-dead software (or firmware as the case may be)...

You also may be running an app which auto-clears cookies (perhaps on bootup).

Considering how the guy smacked off so inconsideratly to Scott wrt this NPS thing, I am actually thinking Scott was too nice.

1) Check for things like norton internet security, and apps like it which may block cookies, check for cookie permissions in your browser. 2) Probably the same reason as #1. 3) The room seems to be used when there is an announced chat event, else it usually remains unused.

Hrm, went to my oldest past post and you are right, no Edit link, either it times out, or maybe it happened when they converted to the new vB dbase from the old one. I bet on the latter. If it does time out, it will cause issue with threads that get updated over time.

It appears to me you are using IE7, it would not surprise me if that is where the problem is/was, it has numerous rendering issues, it almost looks like a RSS type of render.
