Happy holidays,

I have a newer generation EA dish that doesn't have 77. I'd like to get 77.
I have two coax run to the pole outside and have a Dish pro 34 inside.
I have a spare 1000.2 WA antenna.

My question is can I use this spare receiver as a wing dish to ONLY tune 77 through the DP 34?

I know this is a wonky setup. I'm not here to debate the merits of this setup - just whether this is even physically possible.

Thanks

You could do that or just connect your wing dish to the input of the new LNB. The DP34 is not DPP so it requires two lines to a dual tuner receiver.

Solid signal will see you a replacement LNB that has 77 degrees on the assembly

Won't work as you cannot feed a DP switch with a DPP LNB.
