I had 10,000BC show up in the guide and thought I'd give it a try. My TV is a Sony Bravia KDF-50E3000 rear lcd projection 1080 and supports 24P True Cinema.. It failed the 1080P test, connected via HDMI from the 622 receiver..

I went to the Dishnet sight and got on the chat with a rep and they said that they were rolling out the 1080p slowly, it was not completely up at the moment. I hit the internet and looked as well as here and it seems many are having failures on the test. Has anyone heard anything regarding a timeline when this feature will work. Funny how they advertised this feature but it seems it doesn't seem to work for most..

Thanks..

You shoulda done a search on this. The Sony 3k's all have failed. In fact someone that has a Sony called and the Sony tech said that it didn't support 24p.

Well, someone at Sony is lying. This spec sheet for my TV says it supports 24p. Of course I haven't received a 1080p movie to test it...

Maybe not 24p on the dish receiver, but I do not understand why.. It does support 24p and other devices work.. Like Blue Ray players... The feature is stated in it's manual and tested and reviewed for the TV at various sites... Don't have a clue as to why this is Sony's issue really.. The TV looks awesome, no chance of ditching the TV just to work with Dishnet if this issue doesn't get resolved eventually.. ;)

Config?

Maybe you have to go into the menus and set the configuration to accept it. That is just a suggestion. As I said search for the 1080p on the forum to find out more of what has been said about this problem.

But, until I can receive a 1080p movie on my 622, I don't have to worry about any "configuration issues" with the TV....
