help. hooked 721 to a location with one coax and very difficult to add another coax so the dpp44 with a splitter is a major savior. did the software thing and all works well EXCEPT----- I had a 508 there and diplexed to the TV down stairs. Now when I put the diplexer in the 721 does not see the satellite anymore. Has anybody used the dpp44 plus splitter with a diplexer?

I have my 721 hooked up with a Dish Pro SEPERATOR and a DPP44 switch. I understand this is the only way this will work with a 721.

Vincent is right - you can NOT use a splitter - DishPro or otherwise. It has to be a DPPlus Separator. But that probably is what you're using, and you just mis-named it.

You CAN use diplexers on that feed line - they must be the two devices closest to each other on the line, and if you have the power inserter on the same line you MUST usse high-power-passing diplexers.
