I just installed the new 722 receiver from DISH. I was having problems with my old 622 and kept having to get new ones ( 3 in less than 2 years) -- every time i got i new receiver i lost all my recordings. What i am looking for is a reasonable external hard drive that will be compatible to the new 722 receiver to download recordings to in case i start having problems with this receiver. I found one on the DISH website - it was a seagate showcase for 170.00 plus the 40.00 for activation from Dish is a little more than i wanted to spend. Are there any other external hard drives out there that will work???? Thanks for the help.
