Once again, a glitch in the lines for local Ionia County 9-1-1. This was received at 9:50 to WION... (especially important this weekend as traffic volume is UP and people are literally playing with FIRE)..
"IOCD’s 911 lines are being transferred to Barry County. The glitch is being looked into. Please direct ALL calls to 616-527-0400 until further notice."
Please act responsibly this weekend, folks...it'd be nice if the weekend was a quiet one for local officials! We thank Ionia County Central Dispatch for their cooperation with LOCAL RADIO. Now, can 9-1-1 pass that trait on to ALL our County officials, please? (ESPECIALLY those involved in the services of emergency!!)
