and w/o steroids possibly. He is the only true 40/40 man as well. Despite that some critized him about the $$$ he gets, he has delivered as a baseball player and there has never been a question about his talent.

They said the same thing about Griffey Jr. When they signed him in Cincinatti they were predicting that he would be the guy to break Aaron's HR record. Persistent injuries are making that less and less likely every day.

It will be interesting to see how he does 10 years from now.

I'm sure glad that I recognized his talent over a decade ago and kept his rookie cards. They are worth a good bit now. Only one card I regret getting rid of which was individually numbered to 5,000! Alex Rodriguez seems to be the next Griffey Jr.
