In the last month have have dropped the ball big time. First was a power supply for my Pi3 adb-s server. Power supply died ordered one Amazon prime, two day delivery. A week and a half later get a empty padded envelope that was obviously opened and resealed. No problem, Amazon sent another one and it took two weeks to get here. Now last Friday I ordered a NMO mount from the antenna farm. Got a tracking number and they got it out that day. Blairsville GA is about a hundred mile from me. It went to Atlanta two Friday's ago and has not moved since. Tracking just shows ypur item is late, but is on the way. No wonder they are broke. Could have picked it up in a 3 hour round trip.
$10 bucks two day priority and 7 business days later, I still don't have it. It is amazing how government entities work.

I have two packages that are 2 days late. One is shipped via USPS Priority Mail and the other one is UPS (3 day). They both are coming from California. There has not been any tracking info updates since they shipped back on 11/30

Yep. typical government entity, pay ahead, don't fulfill and keep you in the dark. Yet they have a hard time figuring out why they are broke.

I ordered a power supply from California via USPS on the 1st . Stuff from CA is always late and often there is no tracking info other than it's on the way. I was supposed to get the delivery yesterday but apparently USPS is taking the scenic route to get to Montana and the last report shows it in Cleveland, OH. :(

Yep, having the same issues here. Stange, 99% of what I am shipping, even to CA is happening in 2 days! But no, let me try and order something and it is slow. Except, Amazon and other regular shippers, they seem okay for the most part.
It is very strange how it is working.

The problem is amazon...

When Amazon ships, NOTHING shows it's moving with the tracking number until it actually gets to my local post office! I think Amazon actually delivers the stuff to the "last mile" post office themselves, and then lets the post office take over from there.

Haven't had any problems with USPS lately, since I switched companies that I get my cigars from. The former company which was bought by another and moved to PA would ship stuff UPS and then transfer it to USPS,it was taking 10 days or more,if I got it at all.UPS would pick it up in PA,go to NJ,back across PA to Ohio, back to PA and another hop in PA where it finally got transferred to the Post Office. Then in to NY and finally to me.
The new company ships Priority Mail from NC and I have it in 3 or 4 days, for the same shipping charges and better and cheaper cigars.
FedEX on the other hand,a recent package, according to tracking, was delivered to my front door,no package.Looked around the neighbors no sign of it.A few days later my mailman stopped me and said there was a package for me at a house down the street and around the corner from me.Nobody is at that house this time of year,it was not at the front door and the door it was at is not even on the same street :wtf

I had problems with them, before this mess. I contacted them and at the time they said it was because it was a one-man-band, at their new Blairsville location. Quicker for me to just drive there. Takes about 25-30 mins from where I live.

I was getting text messages from USPS each night saying my package will be late. I did not get one last night. I sign up for text messages each time I have something shipped to me. But if I go into the USPS tracking info all it shows is when it shipped.

OTOH, I ordered a pack of four Kasa outlet controls from Amazon Prime from their BF deals. Was disappointed to see an EDD of Jan 7-21, 2021.

Showed up last Friday.

Except for Amazon, I've been seeing varying delays on most deliveries lately. Amazon is usually, but not always, next day here. I expect the delays are here to stay until after Christmas.

I have had problems with FedEx Smart Post. Its a combination of FedEx and the USPS. From East to West coast took about 2 weeks on my last two orders.

FedEx does the long haul part and USPS does the local delivery.

My 2 cents,

Maybe it's a worldwide thing,

Ordered an item from Amazon France, a month ago, it was shipped actually from a UK warehouse, and they use the Netherlands postal system,

The status has been "On transport to destination country",,, for 21 days, now,, same status no change,

Next status should be "has arrived in destination country"

From what I understand and my previous experience, that means the item is still sitting on some warehouse hopefully in a Netherlands airport wating to be put on a plane, one of these days.....

IMHO it's all about the USPS. My Prime "2 day shipping" that recently went up to $120 year NEVER I repeat NEVER, EVER shows up in two days.

My UPS package finally updated after 4 days in la-la land. My USPS package that was sent earlier is still in la-la land. It is now 4 days late for a 3 day delivery.
