WCSH-TV (NBC) channel 6 of Portland, ME signed on 50 years ago today from the Congress Square Hotel in Portland, ME. As far as I know, the station has always been a primary NBC affiliate. The piece shows a Maine "map" which mentioned WRDO-TV of Augusta. Any ideas as to what that may have turned into?
