Kind of about a problem I am having. I just recently had to replace my 622 with another one after the first one "burned" out the power source. I got the new one and preceeded to set it up. Called tech support to get it authorized and it went OK. After hanging up I noticed that all of my channels that I subscribed to weren't available, particularly my MLBEI. Called agin and they had alot of trouble getting it to authorize the channels. Finally a supvr had to overide the system and made out like I had just purchased the package again. OK, everything I had is back, but noticed when I went through a check switch the only ones I have are the 110 and 119. The 129 x's out and I can't get a number of the HD programs because of this. I have tried numerous times and it still won't show 129. I also just had the tech out thr week before to tweak in the system because of the low signal strenghth, high 40s and low 50s on the 129. I have them coming out again on Friday to re-tweak the dish. I had no problems with 129 from the time they were out last week until I got the new reciever. Any ideas what could be the problem? I would not have thought that a new reciever would cancel out one sat because the Dish wasn't touched at all. Thanks

Maybe it needs a software download. If so, directly feed 119 or 110 to Sat In 2. Make sure both tuners are off, but the receiver is plugged in. It could take about 30 minutes.

If you go to the System Info page, either by pressing the buttons inside the front panel, or use the remote (Menu-6-1-3), it will show the latest software version which is L360.

EDIT: Also, sometimes doing a check switch with the 2 cables removed from Sat In 1 and Sat In 2 on the back of the receiver will help. When it says it found less satellites, do you want to save, tell it yes. After you finish, put the cables back on, then do another check switch.

Just a stab in the dark, but it definately sounds like you're having issues with the 129. If it's been less than 90 days since you're had a tech out, I would definately get a FREE service call and see what can be done to increase that signal strength.
