Somebody gave me three Direct TV receivers and I was wondering what I can do with them. I don't plan to subscribe and have no interest in hacking but thought they might work as signal splitters once I get FTA into my house. Any ideas? Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry DirecTV receivers are useless for FTA : (

Very soon you will be able to get FTA receivers VERY cheap. Just yesterday I got a Pansat for $30!!!!!!!!!

WOW 30 bucks...that is cheep...why might i ask, will you be able to get a FTA receiver cheep??

pretty soon people who are using them for illegal activites will be dumping their FTA boxes because there won't be nothing for them to watch

I can't wait to buy a Pansat 3500 for about $25.00!

Any ideas how much longer?

I'm getting impatient...

Thats what I thought, i remember seeing them used for Dish and that company in canada. But for 50 bucks or less...i would pick one up, but do they have abilty to hook up to a dish motor to move the dish???
