I recently purchased a Panasonic PT47x54 Tv. I then signed with DISH. I have the DISH 942 and the DISH 510. The remote that came with the TV will operate the 510, but will not operate the 942. Any ideas why the remote will not operate the 942.

Most tv's use IR emotes. The 942 remote is UHF,
Best to put the TV codes in the Dish remotes and use them.
Generally, you only need to power on/off and use volume anyway.

The 942 is likely on a different codeset. The system info screen will show you which remote address each receiver is looking for. If the receivers are now in different rooms, set the 942 the same as the 510 (consult your owner's guide), then the TV remote will work with both. The 510 is UHF and the 942 is UHF Pro so you can use each receiver's own remote with no conflict (though the 510 remote will be able to control the 942 since it also sends IR).

Need remote control help

Sub for 2 weeks, 511 needs to be replaced
