On January 30, I swapped an 811 for a ViP211 and changed my programming to DishHD Gold on Febuary 1. I have been thinking about the new DVR. The 622 holds 9 days of EPG data and the 211 only 2 days. Reading Scott's review pushed me off the fence. 
I just called to see if they'd upgrade me. I fully expected the CSR to tell me that I couldn't upgrade until next January. The 622 install is scheduled for March 28 
. Oh, well. At least I have the 211 to enjoy until then. I miss the UHF remote control and extra video outputs for my bedroom TVs that I had with the 811. Now I'll have them back.
