I'm coming back to dish and getting installed next week and I'm wondering if the close proximity to the power line can cause interference and/or a pq issue.

I didn't have the greatest picture the last time I had dish, but i don't think the wiring job was all that great. Since you say the power line are not a problem then I will have the 1000 mounted in place of the 500. I assume it will use the same mounting hardware.
